Phil Cammack in Aberdeen

Phil Cammack has been visiting Aberdeen Psychology, to give a talk on:

From computer screen to reality: Comparing how conclusions on camouflaging objects in an abstract computer-based task hold up in the real world.

He also ran a workshop, with Leili Soo,  in the PhD student led MatClub, introducing participants to the advantages and disadvantages of using publicly available code. Specifically, people were introduced to the resources available on Mathworks – both in the official documentation and the file exchange. They then led an exercise to demonstrate a particularly good file exchange program to familiarise the Matclub with Mathworks and downloading, learning and using file exchange functions.
