We have just taken delivery of a hyper spectral camera system, which will be used to characterise the patterns and colours of animals (eg. lepidoptera species) across a broad range of wavelengths, as part of a project on aposematism.
The work is a BBSRC funded collaboration between Harris & Penacchio (St. Andrews), Rowe & Skelhorne (Newcastle), Cuthill
(Bristol) and Lovell (Abertay).
