Julie is excited to be taking part in a new series of talks in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide.
It’s based on a conversation series run by Dr Wei Ji Ma at NYU called ‘Growing up in science’ (http://www.cns.nyu.edu/events/growingupinscience/). In Adelaide, the series is being started by Dr. Anna Ma-Wyatt, Associate Professor of Psychology, and Julie is starting the series as a visiting scientist here at the moment. Excited to me taking part…and we all get donuts!!
The idea is to have an academic come to have an informal conversation about their career – the story behind the scenes. While polished cvs can look intimidating, behind each there are stories about unexpected and fortunate events that can impact a career.
